Installation, Care
and Cleaning Instructions
WALL MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
for ALL BOARDS
(PLEASE READ BEFORE STARTING)
Determine desired
height and secure lower brackets to the wall. It is best for
the screws to be at the top of the slots of these lower brackets.
Set the BOARD on
the lower brackets and mark for the top bracket locations.
Snug top brackets
to the wall as marked in Step 2. Screw for the upper brackets
should be located in the centers of the bracket slot.
Set BOARD into
position and tap top brackets snug against frame. Mark frame
of BOARD where the screws will secure in the bracket lip. Remove
BOARD and tighten all bracket screws.
Drill small pilot
holes in BOARD frame as marked in Step 4.
Set BOARD back
into place, install screws into the brackets and pilot holes
and tighten.
IMPORTANT!!
WARRANTY VOIDED
IF PROVIDED BRACKETS ARE NOT USED PER ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS.
DO NOT DRILL THROUGH
FACE OF PANEL OR FRAME.
CAUTION: (for aluminum
tray only)
The gray vinyl tray end caps which are supplied must be installed
on both ends of the aluminum tray before use.

Case Mounting Instructions
1. Attach the mounting bracket
to wall in the desired location with two of the mounting screws
supplied. The mounting holes in the bracket are on 16 inch centers
for ease of internal wall stud positioning. Cabinets with two
doors require locating one mounting bracket on the centerline
of each door.
2. Hang cabinet on mounting
bracket.
3. Secure Cabinet to wall
with 2-(L) mounting brackets in each lower corner.

CHALKBOARD CARE
CAUTION: ( for
aluminum tray only)
The gray vinyl tray end caps which are supplied
must be installed on both ends of the aluminum tray before use.
BREAKING IN
FOR BEST RESULTS,
IT'S ESSENTIAL TO BREAK-IN THE CHALKBOARD.
COVER THE ENTIRE
SURFACE WITH CHALK. USE THE SIDE OF A PIECE OF WHITE, DUSTLESS
CHALK. NEVER USE CHALK WITH GLAZED, HARD SURFACE.
WORK THE CHALK
INTO THE SURFACE USING AN ALL-FELT ERASER. REPEAT THESE STEPS
AGAIN
WIPE THE BOARD
CLEAN WIT A SOFT, DRY, LINT-FREE CLOTH OR CHAMOIS.

CHALK
BOARD CLEANING
FOR BEST RESULTS,
DRY CLEAN THE CHALKBOARD.
ERASE THE ENTIRE
SURFACE WITH AN ALL-FELT ERASER AND WIPE WITH A SOFT, DRY, LINT-FREE
CLOTH OR CHAMOIS.
TO REMOVE STUBBORN
STAINS, SUCH AS FINGERPRINTS, CRAYON, PENCIL MARKS, ETC., USE
WATER AND A MILD, NON-ABRASIVE, NON-OILY CLEANER. RINSE WITH
WATER AND DRY IMMEDIATELY.
A NOTE OF CAUTION:
WATER WILL NOT HARM THE BOARD SURFACE, BUT IT DOES COMBINE WITH
THE CHALK TO PRODUCE A GLAZED, SLICK FINISH THAT IS UNFIT FOR
WRITING. THIS CONDITION CAN DEVELOP ON ANY CHALKBOARD SURFACE.
AFTER WATER IS USED, IT IS IMPORTANT TO DRY THE SURFACE IMMEDIATELY
AND REPEAT THE BREAK-IN INSTRUCTIONS.

GENERAL CARE AND CLEANING

CAUTION: ( for

ERASE YOUR BOARD
WITH A CHALKBOARD ERASER OR SOFT CLOTH AFTER EACH DAY USE
OLD MARKS MAY BE
REMOVED BY MARKING OVER THEM WITH ANOTHER MARKERS
AFTER A PERIOD
OF USE, INK RESIDUE MAY DEVELOP ON THE SURFACE. SIMPLY USE A
MILD, NON-ABRASIVE, SPRAY CLEANER, RINSE WITH CLEAN WATER AND
DRY WITH A SOFT CLEAN.

ERASABLE MARKERS
THE ERASABLE MARKER
HAS A SOLVENT BASE THAT DRIES QUICKLY. THIS IS THE KEY TO ITS
ERASABILITY. THE MARKER SHOULD BE TIGHTLY CAPPED WHEN NOT IN
USE.
IF THE TIP DRIES
OUT, IT MAY BE POSSIBLE TO REACTIVATE THE INK. CAP THE MARKER,
TURN IT UPSIDE DOWN AND SHAKE VIGOROUSLY UP AND DOWN FOR SEVERAL
SECONDS. STORE IT UPSIDE DOWN OVERNIGHT.
USE THE MARKER
ON THE ERASABLE MARKER BOARD OR GLASS, IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED
FOR OTHER SURFACES.

Installation
Instruction For 1" Map Rail
Take cork out of
Map Rail extrusion
You will notice the Aluminum extrusion has a recessed portion
with a line centered down the middle. This is where you put the
screw.
Use a flat headed screw appropriate to the wall upon which you
wish to attach map rail.
Using a drill to make holes in map rail as appropriate or a self
tapping screw.
Screw map rail to wall.
Insert cork by gently pushing or sliding into extrusion
All done and ready to use.
